Winter Recreational Guide

Welcome to the Township of Madawaska Valley

Fire High Open Air Buring Permitted

Barry's Bay, Combermere, Wilno - each of our three population centres is a unique community with recreation facilities, schools, festivities and churches that form the basis of community life. Residents enjoy the comfort of small-town living along with the security of excellent health and education services. It’s time you visited the Madawaska Valley to see if you, too, will stay for a lifetime.

Vision Statement

Madawaska Valley is a healthy, growing, and culturally-rich community which values the contribution that residents and business owners make towards providing affordable and accessible amenities and an unparalleled quality of life.

Mission Statement

The Township of Madawaska Valley develops mindful, prudent, and community-driven policy that ensures a safe, clean, and secure environment, a well-maintained infrastructure system and community assets, and a climate of acceptance, transparency, and responsible growth. We pursue progress with careful consideration of short and long-term implications so that the integrity and character of our Township, its assets, natural amenities, and people of all ages, rural or urban, are upheld.
